This policy explains what personal information Find My Broker (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website or enquire about being matched with a broker, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@findmybrokers.com.

Who we are

Find My Broker is a free matching and introduction service that connects property buyers, sellers and renters with independent, licensed real estate brokers operating in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We are not a broker ourselves and we do not provide investment, legal or financial advice. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at hello@findmybrokers.com.

What information we collect

When you complete our enquiry form, we collect the details you choose to give us, which may include:

Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number;
Where you are based (for example, the UAE or the UK);
What you are looking to do (buy, sell or rent), the emirate, property type, number of bedrooms and preferred area;
The purpose of your enquiry, your budget, how you intend to pay, your timeline, and any mortgage pre-approval status;
Anything else you include in the free-text message field.

If you contact us instead through WhatsApp, Instagram or email, we receive whatever information you share in those messages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

Match you with a suitable vetted broker for your area, property type and requirements;
Introduce you to that broker and, where helpful, brief them on what you are looking for;
Contact you about your enquiry and follow up on the match;
Improve and run our service.

Our legal basis for this is your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in operating a matching service you have asked to use. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We share the relevant details of your enquiry with the vetted broker we introduce you to, so they can help you. That broker becomes responsible for how they use your information from that point, under their own privacy practices.

We also use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website, who process data on our behalf:

Web3Forms — delivers our enquiry form submissions to us by email;
Cloudflare — hosts and serves the website;
Google Fonts — provides the fonts used on the site.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Some of the services above (for example, our hosting provider and font provider) may process limited technical information such as your IP address as a normal part of delivering the page to you. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy to describe it.

International transfers

Because we operate between the UAE and the UK, your information may be processed in either location, as well as by the service providers listed above. Where information moves between countries, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected to an appropriate standard.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry information for as long as we need it to match you and to follow up, and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. When we no longer need it, we delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
Ask us to delete your information;
Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
Withdraw consent you previously gave;
Ask us to transfer your information to you or another provider.

To exercise any of these, email hello@findmybrokers.com and we will respond. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
